Event Marketing
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who are seeking experience in the event and marketing industry to join our remote Communications and Event Marketing internship team to support and assist us with the planning and execution day to day activities. Interns will work remotely from home. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience that goes beyond administrative tasks. The internship program will focus on planning events, marketing, media relations and other long-term projects. Interested candidates will be required to dedicate a minimum of 10-15 hours per week (flexible schedule).

Web App UI UX Re design and product tours
The goal of this project is to enhance the overall product experience for users by conducting a thorough review of the existing UI/UX, suggesting and implementing necessary changes. Additionally, the project aims to improve email communication sent through the platform by developing engaging and visually appealing HTML content. To further enhance the user experience, user-friendly tools will be utilized to create product tours for new users.
Digital Content Creation
We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We at Haletale are constantly working hard to grow and want to better understand our target market and audience as well as the overall market so we can uniquely position ourselves within our industry. The idea behind Haletale is to connect people and make them feel at home. We are an online Co-living platform providing all-inclusive, move-in-ready coliving units for international students and newcomers. Our properties are budget-friendly and have flexible lease dates. Our web app allows users to review properties and potential housemates, and apply and pay rent. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Business Administration
The primary focus for the student will be: (Remove any that don't apply) Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to supply chain processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes. Project scope is to support the operations team by integrating no code solution like Clickup. There is an existing list of tasks that we execute for an operations cycle. Student should be able to create a template and setup automation.
Marketing Intern
We’re looking for student/student groups to help us analyze, create marketing strategies, and propose methods to strategically leverage social media and modern tools to achieve our marketing and growth goals. The Student/group will source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement of newcomers to the Haletale website along with creating and communicating brand awareness.
Business Administrative Associate
Haletale is currently looking for government funding, grants and raising funding to finance our development and operational expenses. The main goal of the internship will therefore be to find financing for the company. By the end of the project, the student will be able to research government financing in Canada and Ontario province, to fill out the applications and will have experience with grant management and follow up.
SaaS Email Communications
Our company has a Software as a Service (SaaS) web application. We would like to collaborate with students to update our email notification content and presentation This will involve: Conducting background research on our existing product, processes, and policies. Review existing emails and suggest changes. Improve emails using HTML and integrate mailchimp or twilio Auditing of our current GDPR mitigation techniques, processes, policies, and more to ensure compliance.
Web App UI / UX Design, Architecture and Devolopment
Our company would like to explore adding features to our existing webapp. We would like a group of students to design additional features to our co-living platform. This will involve: Conduct background research of existing web application for the product. Identify key areas of our current product and what additional features are required. Learn and use various software tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use React and Ruby on Rails as it is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI.
