Company Name: Happy Food

At Happy Food, we help individuals reach their health and wellness goals using nutrition, psychology, and habits. We support them in a way that does not include shame, judgment, or guilt. We aim to change their behaviors by focusing on their mindset and getting to the root cause of the problem. Delicious nutrition and pleasurable weight loss.


Project Title: Social Media Best Practice and Implementation

Project Goal: 


The main goal of this project is to create a social media or general marketing plan that results in greater client registration. Learners are expected to research best practices for the industry, create content that generates interests, and provide recommendations for future projects. Learners will gain research skills, expand graphic arts knowledge both with creativity and software, and test effectiveness of the plan.


Deliverables

Project Deliverables:


At the end of the project, learners are expected to submit the following:

  1. Submit a market analysis report of the health and nutrition coaching industry to include best social media/marketing practices.
  2. Generate at least 25 social media posts with specific goals for each post.
  3. Implement plan, test the quality of the plan with specific marks such as audience engagement, and adjust as necessary.


Project Expectations & Skills Required: 

Learners will work on the following tasks to achieve the project goal:

  • Main Deliverables: Write a concise report about best practices and create and implement plan for Happy Food.
  • Skills Required: Learners need to be familiar with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Canva or other graphic software. They also need to be able to effectively transfer graphics and data to company (probably on Google Docs).


Project Details & Milestones: 


Week 1: Project Kick-off and Onboarding: 

  • Understand philosophy of Happy Food and core value.
  • Start doing market research and best practices

Week 2: Continued Onboarding, Demonstrated Competencies, & Initial Tasks 

  • Timely and effective communication with Happy Food regarding questions or deliverables.
  • Continue with research and report
  • Provide any preliminary findings

Week 3: Early Project Work & Initial Milestones 

  • If most of the research is finished, start creating some content.
  • Experiment with different software and best ways to transfer work
  • Test out some marketing posts

Week 4: Mid-Project Progress & Review  

  • Write up specific plan for social media content and any other marketing recommendations.
  • Continue to generate more social media content
  • Implement and test

Week 5: Final Project Work & Pre-Submission 

  • At least 80% of planned content has been completed. Focus on completing project.
  • Run any last minute experiments/testing/trials.

Week 6: Final Project Submission & Wrap Up

  • Submit final report and all social media content
  • Write up any recommendations for future projects or recommendations in general.

Learner Support

  • Weekly Meetings: Teams will meet weekly. If more meetings are necessary, then we can schedule them all via Zoom.
  • Mentorship Hours: Any one-on-one meeting can be requested. This responsibilities to request meetings is placed on learners. This is always available.
  • Support Channels: Learners are free to email or text with necessary questions or feedback.
