In a nutshell: We are looking for someone to re-design our website homepage. Check us out at www.campertunity.com.

Who we are:

Campertunity is an online marketplace where users can book a campsite on private land.

Our values are our top priority:

Get people outdoors - to better the mental, physical, and emotional well being of everyone. We believe that everyone deserves to get outdoors easily.

Team environment - you are valued. We support dedication, results, creativity, and professionalism. And, of course, all while having fun!

Helping our planet - being a part of Campertunity means helping people vacation in nature - an affordable, environmentally friendly way to travel that leaves little to no footprint.

User friendly - our purpose is to get people outside quick and easy, which means a user friendly website that meets the needs of hosts and campers.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Design mock-ups for potential new homepage
  • Understand user flow and needs of both campers and hosts
  • Identify bottlenecks on the homepage and make changes / suggestions for ease of use
  • Use company branding fonts, language, and colours as deemed appropriate
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

Travel & tourism

Campertunity is website that enables people to list, find and rent private land for camping for a processing fee.
Our goal is to get people outside by introducing camping to the shared economy. We promote healthy living, sustaining land, and agri-tourism by expanding camping capacity beyond existing campground facilities to private acreages and farms.
We are committed to providing a user friendly website wherein hosts can advertise and profit from renting their land, short term, to campers who want to browse camping availability in Canada.
The purpose of this business is to localize into one website the offering of a safe transaction environment between a host and guest(s). From the host’s perspective, this business will offer selling revenue at low risk activity. From the guests’ perspective, opening the opportunity to more camping space, which means increasing the market for camping, meeting the supply and demand need, and unlocking unique campsites.
