The campaign should aim to increase awareness and participation in competitive sports among athletes and encourage them to stay active in their chosen sport.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Researching the target audience of athletes who participate in competitive sports.
- Developing a marketing strategy to promote the benefits of continuing to participate in competitive sports.
- Creating promotional materials such as posters, social media content, and flyers to be distributed in university programs and non-university club sports.
- Collaborating with university programs and non-university club sports to implement the marketing campaign.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the marketing campaign through data analysis and feedback from athletes.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- A comprehensive research report on the target audience of athletes and their participation in competitive sports.
- A detailed marketing strategy outlining the approach to promote the benefits of continuing to participate in competitive sports.
- Developed promotional materials such as posters, social media content, and flyers for distribution.
- Implemented the marketing campaign in university programs and non-university club sports.
- A report evaluating the effectiveness of the marketing campaign, including data analysis and feedback from athletes.
Final deliverables:
- All source materials including research reports, marketing strategy, and promotional materials.
- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes of the marketing campaign.
- A presentation summarizing the research, strategy, implementation, and evaluation of the marketing campaign.
