There are two ways journalists improve society: 1) spotlight harmful challenges or 2) spotlight helpful initiatives. Unfortunately, our traditional journalism narrative focuses more on the first, and often misses how the same action can affect differently to different marginalized groups, particularly the stories of the thriving social innovation community trying to serve them. "Solutionally Speaking" wants to focus on solutions, based on "solution journalism." It tries to answer the dominant question of our age: is there a positive way for journalism that can truly serve society? If you are looking for an opportunity to use your UX/UI skills to support social innovation, this is for you.

As a UX/UI specialist, you will have the opportunity to take this social innovation idea to bring them to life. You will work closely and collaboratively with the project lead

• to review and refresh the user research of an existing MVP,
• finalize the personas and journey mapping, and
• then add and edit the MVP to make it more user-friendly, and
• finally, test and improve whether the unique value proposition of each idea is reflected through a high-fidelity prototype of the MVP (minimum viable product).
