order delivery warehouse operations warehousing loading and unloading research operations warehouse management systems
Details

Our company is growning and we duplicate our warehouse capacitis this year, each day we manage a lot of in and out operations, preparations. To deliver orders on time, we need to replace the actual workflow.

We believe that with the help of a continuous improvement system, currently already developed, that allows us to analyze the different points of view of our activity, We could design improvements in work processes, security, costs. We would like to work with logistics students to have a point of view different from ours to improve these processes.

This will involve several different steps for students, including:

  • S Security: how to collect the data of the goods that allow the identification of the individual protection equipment to be used
  • Q Quality analysis of incidents to propose improvements
  • D Deliveries on time, how to improve our operations to meet the agreed deadlines
  • C Cost evaluation of processes to reduce costs (study of alternatives). reservation system for loading or unloading slots
  • P Personnel needed to better train our employees
