Parkinson's Sleep Study: Analyzing Sleep Patterns for Better Health Outcomes

The PD Avengers are seeking to conduct a scientifically rigorous sleep study focusing on individuals with Parkinson's disease. This is a follow up to a general sleep survey in 2024. The primary goal is to analyze sleep patterns and disturbances commonly experienced by Parkinson's patients, aiming to identify how sleep quality impacts disease progression. This project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of research methodologies, data analysis, and scientific communication. The study will involve designing a research protocol, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting the results to draw meaningful conclusions. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of how sleep affects Parkinson's patients and may inform future therapeutic approaches. This project is ideal for students in health sciences or related fields, offering a practical application of classroom learning in a real-world context.
