AscentUP - Cybersecurity: Security Audit & Infrastructure Enhancement
Project Duration: 6 Weeks Project Hours: 150 Project Hours Per Learner: 30 Organization Description: At Amida Wealth our mission is to empower our clients to realize their true wealth. To live fully in the present and plan for the future. There are many steps that need to be taken to reach the wealth you desire and the happiness you deserve. Allow us to journey with you through each of your stages of life, weaving the 7 key areas of financial planning together to help you transform your vision of wealth into reality. Project Overview: The project aims to evaluate and enhance our cybersecurity infrastructure by assessing security measures, networks, and systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing best practices to strengthen overall protection. The primary objective is to analyze existing security protocols, pinpoint weaknesses, and provide a strategic report with actionable recommendations for improving cybersecurity measures. The project is structured for one learner dedicating 30 hours over a six-week period. Project Scope & Expectations: Learners will engage in: Conducting a full cybersecurity audit of existing IT infrastructure, developing a comprehensive assessment of the employer’s IT infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities. Identifying potential vulnerabilities in systems and networks, then documenting potential threats. Researching and recommending industry best practices for improved security measures. Assisting in the development or refinement of security policies and protocols. Documenting findings and presenting recommendations in a final report.
Marketing Communications Plan
In our efforts to target different demographic of wealth management clients, we are looking for ways to have and maintain a consistent outreach effort. We would like your assistance in creating the campaigns/outreach program for each group that is going to drive our future growth and market for each segment. Segments as follows: Pinnacle - 5 to 25 million in investable assets Entrepreneur - 5+ years of own business Sole - 500k to 5 million in investable assets Amitabsters - younger generation of 28+ years old For this project, you will need to: Understand our brand and mission. Conduct research on the best way to deliver to our customer with successful and innovative wealth management programs. Identify trends and opportunities in the different target markets. Identify the content of the programs themselves for each group (i.e. a millennial vs a pinnacle client vs an entrepreneur) Help us to identify the best way to deliver content to each group (industry standard + innovation) You will have direct access to the Founder and work directly with the team to answer any questions, clarifications, discuss ideas in order to bring the vision to life. We want to increase our brand awareness overall while creating theyou target markets within each group.
Wealth Management B-Corporation Certification Plan
To achieve B-Corporation certification, our company must receive a minimum score on social and environmental performance. This is an online assessment that is overseen by the independent body that certifies B-Corporations (the B Lab). The assessment covers our entire operations and measures our impact in governance, workers, community, the environment, as well as our products and services. We also must integrate sustainability commitments to stakeholders into our governing documents. Project focus should include: An assessment of our current score, which will allow us to identify our areas for improvement. A strategy plan, based on the score assessment, that identifies the areas in which we need to improve performance to achieve the threshold score for B-Corporation certification. The final project deliverable is a 10-page written report detailing our current score, areas for improvement, and a strategy plan for meeting the B-Corporation certification requirements.
