Data Analytics & Visualization for Manufacturing - W23
Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Mohawk College to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program/course prepare and analyze manufacturing information of a business to generate reports and dashboards using best practices in data visualization, for different levels of the manufacturing workforce. Provide a foundation for data analytics within the context of the manufacturing sector through a practical, hands-on introduction into key tools (MS Excel, MS Power Query and MS Power BI) used to support real-world business decision making within manufacturing organizations.
