Key Objectives: Conduct a Comprehensive Industry and Environmental Scan Analyze current trends, emerging technologies, policy shifts, and sector disruptions impacting career development professionals in Canada. This scan will serve as the foundation for responsive strategy and innovation. Engage the Full Membership in Meaningful Dialogue Facilitate structured engagement through surveys, virtual focus groups, and consultations to gather member perspectives, needs, and aspirations. This ensures the strategic direction is informed by the voices of those we serve. Complete an In-Depth Organizational Assessment Evaluate internal operations, capacity, and performance across all departments and initiatives. This includes a full SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Analyze the Value and Revenue of Current Offerings Identify programs, courses, and services that deliver the highest member value and financial return. Make data-driven recommendations to scale, pause, or retire underperforming offerings and streamline live learning formats for clarity and effectiveness. Establish a Leadership Alert and Response System Establish a Leadership Alert and Response System with a proactive intelligence framework to monitor internal and external developments. Implement a rapid notification process to inform leadership of any changes that could impact CPC’s strategic direction, sustainability, or reputation. This system will include a rapid response protocol with agile decision-making capabilities, enabling CPC to quickly adapt to sector shifts, evolving member expectations, or market disruptions and is supported by contingency planning and scenario modelling. Perform a Detailed Competitor and Market Scan Assess the positioning, offerings, and pricing models of similar organizations in Canada and globally. Benchmark CPC’s performance and identify innovation opportunities or threats. Identify and Pursue Funding Opportunities Scan for government grants, philanthropic initiatives, sponsorships, and partnership-based funding that align with CPC’s mission and strategic priorities. Develop a systematic approach to tracking, evaluating, and applying for these opportunities, ensuring CPC diversifies revenue streams and builds financial resilience to sustain long-term growth.

The project focuses on enhancing national awareness and attracting new members to reinforce CPC's position as the leading professional association for career development practitioners in Canada. By expanding its reach and strengthening its value proposition, CPC seeks to foster a more connected, recognized, and impactful career development community. The project involves analyzing current membership trends, identifying potential growth areas, and developing targeted marketing strategies. Learners will apply their classroom knowledge in business development, marketing, and strategic planning to achieve these objectives. The project is designed to be completed by an individual from a business or marketing program.

WordPress Website Modernization Enhancement
This project aims to enhance the functionality, design, and user experience of a WordPress website using Beaver Builder. While some work has already been completed, the current website requires further updates to improve its overall aesthetic appeal and usability, particularly on mobile devices.
