Business Consulting Project
ORGA410
Is your organization seeking some extra support to solve an ongoing business-related challenge? If so, we have 3rd and 4th year business students that are seeking opportunities to help you in the form of a for-credit Business Consulting Project. This course is an undergraduate Organizational Management course on Business Consulting and is composed of students from all streams of business (i.e., human resources, marketing, finance, etc.) looking to put those business skills to good use! Please note: We will be accepting twice as many project applications as there are student teams. Students will choose which projects they want to work with that fill their own specific skill sets during the first week of classes in January. Community Partner organizations will be informed of the students' choice by the end of the second week of January.

Change Management Consultation

Is your business or organization going through a major change, particularly during the time of Covid-19? We’re looking for Organizational Change Industry projects. Our students are currently studying Organizational Development, with a specific focus on Change Management. The cohort consist of 3rd year bachelors students and 2nd year (senior) diploma students. Industry partners selected will be a “Live Case Study” for the course, which means many students will be working in teams on developing tools and resources to support the changes in each company/organization. In other words, lots of ideas and resources for your company!

Nonprofit and Government Accounting
ACCT 366
Does your company need help with your accounting processes? Students from MacEwan University can provide basic accounting support and complete Trial Balances for January, February and March. Students will work individually, but companies are welcome to take on more than one student.

Public Health: High Priority Populations

In this opportunity, your company would get the chance to work with our 4th year Nursing students to evaluate existing interventions and services across Canada pertaining to a priority population. The ultimate aim is to create innovative and evidence-based social media and communication strategies that target multidisciplinary stakeholders and are aimed at promoting health equity and inequality in priority populations.
